Description: Students will enjoy building and using this tool! Copy, cut and fold this reproducible master into a pyramid full of measurement information, including symbols, formulas, and comparisons between metric and standard units. The pyramid itself serves as a benchmark with each edge measuring 10 cm in length.
Teaching tips:
  • 5 to 30 minutes teaching time
  • Fun and easy to build and use!
  • This "homework helper" lists common metric to U.S. customary unit conversion factors. Students assemble the pyramid and use as a desktop reference.
  • Use the edge of the pyramid as a benchmark length of 10 cm (1 dm).
