Metric Pyramid
Description: Students will enjoy building and using this tool! Copy, cut and fold this reproducible master into a pyramid full of measurement information, including symbols, formulas, and comparisons between metric and standard units. The pyramid itself serves as a benchmark with each edge measuring 10 cm in length.
Teaching tips:
- 5 to 30 minutes teaching time
- Fun and easy to build and use!
- This "homework helper" lists common metric to U.S. customary unit conversion factors. Students assemble the pyramid and use as a desktop reference.
- Use the edge of the pyramid as a benchmark length of 10 cm (1 dm).
- Please include your name, school, subject, grade level, phone number, and mailing address when requesting publications.
